August 31, LG announced the all new LG V30. There are a lot of people who loves the V series over G series. The design has been completely changed from the previous V20.  Here is everything you need to know about LG V30.

Same like the LG G6, it’s also covered in glass on both side with Gorilla Glass 5. The display is gently curved and also the back which is much comfortable to hold than before. It has got a huge 6” Quad HD+ (2880*1440 pixels) display. It’s not completely bezel less but the bezels are minimal with 82% screen to body ratio. More importantly, LG finally went to OLED display instead of IPS and LG is calling this P-OLED display and there is also always-on display feature. LG was first to introduce a ‘tall’ phone resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio and you can find the same aspect ratio in V30 too. And gone is the secondary display.

LG is really focusing on Camera and giving the best possible features they can. V30 also has the dual camera setup with one normal lens and one wide-angle lens that LG is known for. The main lens is 16 megapixel and wide-angle lens is 13 megapixel with F/1.6 and F/1.9 aperture lens respectively with the new crystal clear lens. There are two new awesome features in the camera, Cine Effect and Point Zoom. Cine effect allows you to apply built-in 15 professional colour grading to make your videos look like professional. And Zoom Effect allows you to zoom smoothly with jitter-free zoom effect. Not only that, you can also shoot in log mode to retain most dynamic range and details and later on you can edit on your computer. There is still the “Hi-Fi Quad DAC” for awesome audio quality. It is IP68 certified meaning dust and water resistant.

Performance wise, there is all thing what you expect from a flagship, Snapdragon 835, 4 Gigs of RAM, 64 GB standard storage, Wireless charging, 3,300 mAh battery and a headphone jack.
