Samsung Galaxy A70 with triple camera

Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy A70 and the A80. I talked about the Samsung galaxy A80 in the previous post, and in this post I’ll be talking about the Samsung Galaxy A70.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A80’s full screen display, the galaxy A70 has got a small notch on the top. It has got a 6.7” Full HD+ Super AMOLED infinity-U display with 20:9 aspect ratio which is taller than most of the other smartphone’s display.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 is running on a snapdragon 675 with Adreno 612 GPU. Apart from the chipset, this device comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, both with 128 GB of internal storage. The phone comes with Android pie straight out of the box and with Samsung One UI on top.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 also has triple camera but unlike the Galaxy A80 it is not rotatable. The main camera is 32 MP with f/1.7, the ultra-wide angle camera is 8 MP with f/2.2 and the depth sensor camera is 5 MP with f/2.2. This phone can shoot 4K at 30 FPS and Full HD at either 30 FPS or 120 FPS. And in that tiny notch, there is a single 32 MP front facing camera with f/2.0.

Fortunately the Samsung Galaxy A70 still has got a 3.5 mm headphone jack and the option to insert a microSD card which the A80 lacks.

The Galaxy A70 is powered by huge 4,500 mAh battery with the 25 W Super-Fast charging capability, and got a USB type-C port. So, I don’t think there is any complaint here.

This device is made up of what Samsung calls Glasstic body meaning half plastic and half glass which gives a premium glass-like feeling at the same with light weight as of a plastic. Also, you don’t see any fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone because you get an in-display fingerprint sensor here.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 is priced at USD 480 (approximately).
